The FedEx fairy came through on Friday with the gift of boxes from Jordan Brand. Inside them were three recent releases: Jordan CP3.VII ‘Bel Air,’ the Retro 5 ‘Oreo,’ and 3Lab5s in cement gray and gamma blue.
Each pair serves a different purpose in the rotation. As mentioned the other day, I know I’m of the few who thinks CP3 and Melo’s kicks are solid footwear options. The court purple’s a little bold but lush so these will end up as light gym wears for now until summer and shorts roll around to exploit them to the fullest. The ‘Oreos’ and 3Lab5s will obviously both be worn for style purposes, the 5s fit for right now and these dark winter days. The Labs are for whenever I feel like making a splash in rain, hail, sleet, snow or sunshine.
